Life from the Loom
Life from the Loom is am.gabrie’s All Seasons 2025 textile series on biodegradable fabrics, exploring the relationship between nature and humans.
Inspired by Yogyakarta’s Candi Sewu, the series embodies nature's reclamation, where decay exists alongside human craftsmanship. Through embroidery, layered textures, bioplastics and natural dyes, the series reimagines textiles as living materials—designed to be cherished, evolve and ultimately return to the earth.
